Hi all,
What can be the possible causes of a -927 SQLCODE in a CICS-DB2 Program?. I checked the DB2TRAN and DB2E. They look fine. I double checked the plan into which I bound my DBRM. I am also not able to get any dump in the DSNMSTR job. Please provde me with some hints on how to solve this.
Regards,

Thanks a ton Kolusu. Indeed, I had forgotten to include DSNCLI while link-editing my program. I never could map -927 to that.
Now, the problem is resolved.
Thanks Again,
Regards,

My fault Kev. When I got the SQLCODE of -927, I checked the code and found the following in a reference book(Mullins) -
Quote: |
The language interface was called when the connecting environment was not established. Invoke the program using the DSN command.
|
On reading the above, I somehow foolishly thought that it was the job of the SYSPROG and didn't try to resolve the same. When Kolusu talked about DSNCLI, only then I realized that there was some problem while link editing the program.
