Our project currently using MQ, MQSI, DB2 which is running on SUN SOLARIS. For catering to the growing needs of the system, the client wants to move the whole application to mainframes.

Till now DB2 tables are moved to mainframes. We are accessing it thru CONNECT utility from SOLARIS side. After moving the application to USS how we can access DB2 from USS?

Is there any editor for USS in mainframes?

As we are using MQSI there is no need to use MQ code. Now The
message flows are in NT. We have to continue in the same way?
I also need some good links for MQ for OS/390..

Hope I am clear. Idea
Can you plz throw some light on this?

Nila,

Check this link for z/OS UNIX System Services PDF files. You can download all of the the books.

http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/zseries/zos/bkserv/r1pdf/uss.html

As for MQseries books, mvsforums home page has links to many of manuals. It has links for MQseries.

check http://www.mvsforums.com/ for manuals.

Hope this helps...

Ps: Nila , I think you are getting confused with color fonts. If the contents of the message contain light blue colored alphabets, then it is a hyper link which you can click on it. I gave you a sample link for compiling C++ programs Under USS in the Jcl forum. Did you notice it??
