Hi Everyone,
I would like to how AFP is used on the mainframes with some examples. If you have a simple tutorial that would be great

Vijay,

Use the following link

https://www-05.ibm.com/e-business/linkweb/publications/servlet/pbi.wss

Select your country

On the next panel click on "Search for publications" - search for publications based on your own selection criteria

Search for APF and you will find "APF Guide (SC09-1361-00)"

Follow the prompts to Download the manuals

You need softcopy librarian to view it. if you don't have it then you can download it from here

https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/downloadable-free-bookmanager-tools-and-components

Follow the same exercise for "OGL" and you will find

1.Overlay Generation Language: Quick Reference
2.OGL: Command Summary and Quick Reference

These are in PDF format.

Unless you are behind a firewall or scripts blocked, the link works fine. what kind of error are you getting?

I get it also, kolusu:

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at ehone.ibm.com.

If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

I get the above using Firefox on my own laptop.
I get a similar error on my employer's laptop using IE, but they do block some of the social networking sites.
