Dear All,

Its been quite a long time since I posted in this site...H r u all ?

In my shop, we are looking to upgrade IMS from v9 to v11 and as an initial step we are performing a compatibility study. Looking at some IBM manuals and googling I understand that there are no major compatibility issues / recompilation required. But in one website I saw that CICS connect has to be reconfigured a bit to work with the new v11 release.

Have any of you involved in such a upgrade earlier ? and if so, have you experienced any issues (Major / Minor) in your shop ? Any insight on this would be really helpful.

I dont recall anything "special" about the 9-11 jump, as long as you have ditched SMU based security.
You apply the coex maint, review your util/hk policy; upgrade the recons and regen the ACBs ... Business as usual?
Falling back may have considerations but Kolusu's link is a good one

Other relationships in my shop also reported no issues with the 9-11 upgrade. So, I assume everthing should be ok after the upgrade.
