Hello,

in our shop we use "McAfee proactive scanner" to protect us from harm using the internet. For a couple of days, I can't open threads in the forum any longer, since the scanner says, that some Java script acitivity is potentially dangerous.

In these cases, I receive messages like
Malware-Name: McAfeeGW: Heuristic.BehavesLike.JS.Suspicious.A

I couldn't even open a new thread under "About Mvsforums" to inform you about this behaviour. Currently my installation is bypassing these checks for mvsforums.com, but I'd rather prefere a correction than a workaround.

What are my options? Is this change in the usability of Mvsforums due to some changes on your side, or is simply the McAfee scanner going wild?

That is strange. This website does NOT even have advertisements which are the main culprits of malware. This foum uses PHP so may be mcafee is going crazy. Can you disable Javascript and see if you still have the problem?

Hello Kolusu,

since I need Javascript for many other sites, I think I will live with this workaround. I personally trust you anyway.
