Hi,
I have a GDG with limit 10, LRECL - 80, Account (1 - 9, CH)
How to i get only the latest record from all the generations ?
That is, if the account is present in File.Gen(-2) and File.Gen(-4) It should only pick up the account in File.Gen(-2) in my output .

If all of the generations were concatenated together with the most recent generations at the top, and you use a selection for the first occurence of the account only, wouldn't that do what you need?

What do i specify in the sort card to select the first occurance ?
