abhisun,
isnt it obvious? You must define a remote user to a local user for the transfer to work.

Hi Nic - Yes I checked thoroughly in Google before coming here. There is no solution available although at a couple of helpboards same error is logged but no resolution posted.
Hi Kolusu - Everything has been defined. The target server(AIX) has a local user-id(created specially for C: D) and the mainframe C: D ids have been linked to that local user-id. This is for production and we have done same setups in SIT and UAT and everything worked fine. |

Well, I guess that the production dataset name is different form your test names and one or more of the IDs have not been permitted to access that name. _________________ Utility and Program control cards are NOT, repeat NOT, JCL. |

its for sending... The main confusion we are facing is to figure out this-> Is the problem at Mainframe(sender) user/access or at AIX(receiver) user/access...Both system admins are saying that they have setup things correctly... |

abhisun,
I would ask these -
1 Did the sysadmins test their nodes after installing
2 Has anyone tested connectivity between the two systems
3 Do you see the process at both the nodes
4 What does C: D say, they have option to log problems at their website
Regards,
Diba. |
