According to Google:
Quote:

ProTerm is a classic telecommunication program for the Apple II and Macintosh line of personal computers.

Is this supposed to be an IBM product offering?

I'm not sure you're asking for the right thing, or that you're in the right forum.

ProTerm is a general purpose "virtual terminal". A virtual terminal
consists entirely of computer programs that run in an MVS mainframe
environment. Using virtual terminals, a user can obtain a virtual number
of sessions with one or more online systems. A batch job can use a
virtual terminal to log on to an online system and invoke any online
software that was designed for use by a person using a real 3270-family
terminal. To an online system like CICS or TSO, a ProTerm virtual
terminal appears to be just another 3270-family CRT.

ProTerm provides a Batch System, an Interactive System, and a
Communication System. These systems enhance and exploit the capabilities
of ProTerm virtual terminals.

nbdtrjk1,

PROgrammable TERMinal is a software from REED software which later sold it to Platinum and was renamed as "TransCentury Enterprise Tester" which was sold to CA and renamed as "AllFusion CA-Enterprise Tester" and now renamed as "CA Enterprise Tester"

CA manuals are copyrighted so if your shop has a license for it, you can request the manuals from their support site

http://support.ca.com/
