I've written many execs that are meant to be utilized in 3.4, but the execs could be MUCH more usefull if I was able to pull the volser from the 3.4 list itself. Does anyone know of any way to get this info?? |

If you've saved the list to a data set, the volser should be one of the columns. If not, scroll to the right and it should be there. No need to scroll if you've chosen your "preferred" view appropriately. If you're talking tapes (you didn't specify), you'll need a tape management system such as CA-1 to see the volser. Come to think of it, even if it's tape, the volser should show up on a 3.4 display. _________________ ....Terry |

ZDLVOL is not a command - it is an ISPF variable name. If you read the link given by semigeezer you would know. _________________ Utility and Program control cards are NOT, repeat NOT, JCL. |
