Thanks a lot Kolusu.

I am now extending my requirement to pgm=LIBPROG.
Thru this i believe you can create a Library, create index of library, copy modules from one library to another, copy modules from PDS to library etc ..

All these things are accomplised thru the different sysin options for the same pgm=LIBPROG or LIBCOPY.

Can anyone give me some material of this (PDF or otherwise) ?

Thanks !!

Misfit,

Are you refering to the CA-PANVAVALET utilities?? Panavalet offers a few programs namely PAN#1 thru PAN#5 for creating , copying , deleting, adding... libraries.

Hi Kolusu,
I am not referring to PANVALET. Our shop doesnt have panvalet. Refer the following code. This is creating a library ( i have omitted the SYSIN card)
Code:

//STEP05   EXEC  PGM=LIBRPROG,
//           PARM='NRJS,NJTA'
//SYSPRINT DD  SYSOUT=*
//SYSUDUMP DD  SYSOUT=*
//MASTER   DD  DSN=&MASTER,
//             DISP=(NEW,CATLG,DELETE),
//             UNIT=SYSDA,
//             SPACE=(CYL,(5))
//SYSIN    DD   *
/*

Similar to this, many other things can be accomplished (add/delete/move/copy modules in and out or library).
I need a comprehensive doc on this (the way you provided of ELIPS).

Any information is welcum.

Thanks,
misfit
Thanks

misfit,

Now that you clarified the correct pgm name. Check this link

LIBRPROG

Your initial post had a wrong program name. It had pgm=LIBPROG instead of pgm=LIBRPROG.

Hope this helps...

cheers

hchinnam,

NO. CA has moved all of its documentation to secured server. If your shop has a valid licence then you should be able to register on the site and access the manuals
