Hi

In my mainframe Some of the volumes are SMS defined.In that three of the volumes not used .But those three volums are online.

How to make it usable.

First, are you allowed to change things in SMS - this is usually only done by a storage administrator? Those three volumes maybe in a state that they will not normally be used (for example: quiesced). If you can use ISMF take a look at that storage group to get more information.

Jashu did you convert the volumes. What is the state of the volumes. If in SMS it does not show as CONVERT then you need to convert them before SMS can use them.
