Hi,
I have created one VSAM file and repro the records. But the JCL ended with VSAM return code as 28.
Again I reran the same job with out increasing the space, it went fine.
But I am not sure whats the problem. To fix this do I need to increase the secondary space.
Please suggest. |

SK2007,
It depends. When your Job first ran there might not be any free space available for allocating the vsam cluster. However the second time you ran the dasd is free and available.
Look at the job syslog for explanation.
