psmadhusudhan,
Why do you need HTML in your posting? Any specific reason ? Fyi you can post in HTML but only a few tags are supported (b,i,u,pre,hr,br,color, sup)

Hi Kolusu
I am trying to show data as it will be in mainframes, but it will be taken as text only. This is the reason I am asking for that. Can u please tell me how represent the data as it will be seen in mainframes. _________________ Thanks

errr...is that noparse/parse or parse/noparse and is it to do with making bbCode ignore tags? If so, how is it done? _________________ Utility and Program control cards are NOT, repeat NOT, JCL. |

Nic,
it is [noparse] [/noparse] and it is not valid on this site. do a quote on semigeezer's post to see how to do it here. _________________ Dick Brenholtz

DbZ,
The parse/noparse is simple. When you click "Post reply" (Not the quick reply) you will find a radio button beneath reply box for "Disable BBCode in this post". just select that and you get this
[code]click the radio button for Disable BBCode in this post below[/code]

I know, but usually I want to show BBCode tags like [code] and [/code] and still use the BBCODE for urls like this to show links BBCode as semigeezer did and thought it was such a clever trick that I showed Nic. _________________ Dick Brenholtz

I can't take credit. I used to use the html entities for brackets until I saw someone else use the trick I did. Sorry - can't remember who it was. |

duh - never thought of that (using Quote) - that is why I am not an ankayst - just a code monkey I had actually seen it elsewhere but could never find it. Next time I need to use the trick I will probably have forgetten it again! _________________ Utility and Program control cards are NOT, repeat NOT, JCL. |
