Hi All
I am a ims beginer

I want to know how to created a new psb in ims
I do the flowing step to create a new psb nameed psbtest
1 psbgen
2 acbgen
3 OLCUTL to copy the STAGING LIBRARIES TO ACTIVE LIBRARIES
when I use modify prepare and modify commit but when I use dis psb psbtest, the return message is psb psbtest not define in ims.
Who can tell me the correct step thanks

thinks for you answer. but I can not access the link. could you tell me the book name, because of I have the full rebook of IMS.

I have refered to the "Administration Guide: Database Manager" and "Utilities Reference: System" but I still can not define the psb in IMS:(

The process you mentioned is for a DLI only PSB. You need to define it as a BMP enabled PSB to see it in the online region and to use /MODIFY. I don't know how to do thais as I normally make this request to IMS DBAs. For a DLI only PSB you don't need to do the /MODIFY

What is wrong with the manuals? They tell you everything. All you have to do is read the relevant parts of the relevant manuals. If you have problems after that then search the web and search the forums because someone else probably had a similar problem. If you still have no luck, start a new thread stating your problem and what you have attempted to try an resolve it.

You should not put your email address into the public domain like that. Anyone could send you any manner of nasty stuff.
