Hi All,

Does anyone know how to substitue LPAR in SCHENV ?
Sample, for NOTIFY in JOBCARD we could use &SYSUID to get the
User ID. Now what I want to do is code "SCHENV=".
Is there any parameter to get the LPARname ? I can't hardcode the specific LPAR because I need to handle some situations.

Thanks,
Bee-Bop

Type /D SYMBOLS in SDSF and look at the log.

This should show you the symbols set up by the sysprogs. The system id or LPAR is usually one of them.

Hi Expat,

I previously tried that /D SYMBOLS command.. usually it will return SYSNAME for lapr. But when you try to substitiute it in scheduling environment, it won't substitute the LPAR value.

Anyway thanks for the help. Really appreciate it Very Happy

Does it not tell you the name of the system variable / symbol ?

Unfortunately until I get another contract I do not have mainframe access.
