Hi,

1) Is there any way by which I can get the CSD file name in CICS? We can get the dataset name by CEMT I FI. Is there any such way to get CSD file?
2)After getting the file name, can browse this VSAM cluster as any normal VSAM cluster in file aid? I guess I would also need the copybook for properly mapping it.

I am looking for it because I want to view all the transactions and the program names associated with them. I can get all transaction names by CEDC EX GR(*) TRANS(*), but it does not give me the program name.

It would be great if you can share with me the procedure to unload the groups.

aniket,

Look up the CICS Supplied transaction CEDA here which allows you to browse/add/update CSD

You can use DFHCSDUP with the LIST GROUP(*) command that will break it out as well, but you'd probably be happier using what the EXTRACT DFH0CDBC program that CICS Guy suggested. (EXTRACT output is a lot prettier to look at).
