Is there any possibility to get data from VSAM file.

If so how to retrieve data from the vsam file.
For ex:
i have about 2 lakh record in a vsam file and i have to fetch the record with key 1234567890

I have tried with QSAM files its working fine but i dont know how to do the same with VSAM file.
please let me know how to the same with VSAM file. Question

Hi Kolusu,

Apparantely the xephon URL which you have specified in the links are no longer available. Do you have the assembler code which was accessed by those links ??

It seems that RXVSAM, written and supported by Mark Winges, can be found in file 268 of the CBT Tape.
