|
|
Hi,
I have tried this method to get the program name for a transaction.
Code: |
//STEP1 EXEC PGM=IEFBR14
// F CICS-NAME,'CEMT I TRAN(ZZZZ)'
/*
|
This step executes fine. But, I do not know where to look for the results. I have looked into the started task for the CICS name; nothing there.
My aim is to get all the transaction names and their corresponding program names. Since, our CICS applications having a standard for naming the transactions, I can filter out the 'system related transactions'.
Does anyone know a way to get such a list? _________________ ALL opinions are welcome.

Kolusu,
Actually, I am looking for [b]non[/]-expensive solution; i.e. some example used somewhere that can be shared.
I did come across MacKinney. Infact, they seem to turn up for anything that I search for CICS and batch. _________________ ALL opinions are welcome.

Hi,
I tried the above command and it works, but, there's always a but, there's a message in console that i have to respond, the message is : *13 IEFC166D REPLY Y/N TO EXECUTE/SUPPRESS COMMAND
Is there a way to execute the program without having to respond to console?.
Thanks in advance for all the help you can provide.

We have CAFC batch proc here, so we run something like
Quote: | //CAFC EXEC CAFCBTCH,APPL=appl,ENVIR=TEST,
// INPUT='CITFBSI,CEMT,I TRAN(txn)' |
The only drawback that it wil display message in JESMSGLG |
