I'm getting EKX0 abend while entering the transacation id in the CICS region. This is the first time that I'm accessing this region and the application uses Easytrive program. I got the following information as the reason for this abend but it was not much helpful.
1. Application request not understood by ETKXCON
2. Invalid option update order - Abends generated by the task
management program (ETKMP)

Can somebody please tell me how resolve this issue. Any pointers or links are much appreciated.

EKX0 is not a standard CICS Abend. You need to post the actual error messages

Please find the complete error message.

TESTCLCA Transaction TRN1 failed with abend EKX0. Updates to local recoverable resources backed out.

I guess this is an Easytrieve error message. Please note that we are using Easytrieve Online program.

It seems that it is an Abend generated by the CICS task execution control program (ETKXCON). You get an EKX0 abend when Application request is not understood by ETKXCON. Make sure that all the calls right
