 |
				| you get a vtoc error when the volumes are full. 1.to get off this error ,delete some unwanted files under your userid
 or
2.while creating a pds or ps from ispf type in the volume serial ,the other volume serials,
 or
 3.in jcl ,mention vol=ser=work06

Volume serial numbers differ from installation to installation. If you both work in the same shop then he can follow your suggestion.

 Sulaiman,

You must understand one thing - Nobody can guess whatz there in your mind / your friends mind. There are tons of errors and the reasons for few abends differ even with the return code.

For example (S0C4 has return codes such as 04, 08 etc.. and the reason for S0C4 depends on these return codes).

IF your friend is working in the same shop, ask him what error message he got, else ask him to regiter in this board and post the question himself.

 Thanks,
 Phantom
