Can anyone please tell me how to execute IMS DC program which is using MFS?

I know that in CICS/DB2 we type in Transid on a CICS screen and start executing the program.

Similarly what do we do in IMS DC (in MPP and BMP)?

Execuetion of IMS DC program is very much similar to that of execueting CICS transaction.Log on to your IMS region and just type in the transaction name and hit Enter.your transaction will bring up the screen associated with the transaction

Enter /FOR followed by the transaction name to bring up the format. Entering the transaction name only will execute it without using the format.

The IBM manuals for IMS listed on the home page of this site give details on how to run a BMP.

Is it not /format modname

modname can be found from MFS
