Bhoja,
Please donot expect reply within 2 mins. We all are working in one shop or the other and we answer queries whenever we got some spare time.
Anyway, QUIKJOB is some sort of a reporting tool like Easytrieve. It was bought by CA and they renamed that as Vision Report. You will not find any softcopy of this tool in the net as all CA manuals are copyrighted.
If your shop has a valid licence Quikjob (Still the PGM name remains QUIKJOB), then talk to your system programmers to see if they have a copy of manual.
Thanks,

Bhoja,
what part of "You will not find any softcopy of this tool in the net as all CA manuals are copyrighted. If your shop has a valid licence Quikjob (Still the PGM name remains QUIKJOB), then talk to your system programmers to see if they have a copy of manual." don't you understand ?
Btw , use the smiley's only when needed !

As we already mentioned there is no free manual for this. And without a manual, its almost impossible the declarations, definitions & coding of the tool.
QUIKJOB is simple to learn - atleast for the basic operations. If you have QUIKJOB in your shop, just run a 3.14 Search over your JCL/PROC libraries for PGM=QUIKJOB. Read couple of jobs and see what is mentioned in the comments. Try to understand and write your own code (believe me, its really simple) and test it. I am sure you will learn a lot.
Whenever you have any problems with your code, post that - we will try to solve it. But You definitely have to take some effort before posting.
Thanks,
Phantom |
