Hi,
I'm working as an Application Developer in the Mainframe Platform for the Past 1+ Years. I have a good knowledge of COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2 and REXX. I love playing with rexx. I like to move up the ladder towards the Mangament Side. Interested to take an PMI or PMP certification. But since my experience would not help, I thinking of taking some certifications, that would help me up in the ladder. At present, in our compay it is atleast 4 years to become a tech lead. Only by then one is given some management responsibilities. I would be happy if someone could suggest me a certification that would help me move faster in the ladder. My immediate target is the Tech Lead. I would like you to tell me some information on certifications that can help me become a Tech Lead.

Did you try brain bench tests for cobol,DB2,JCL and vsam ? Try scoring 4+ in tests from brain bench which might help you to become a Tech Lead.
