Hi,
We are trying to created a Easytrieve Plus report with data packed for full 132 bytes.
To postion the DETAIL colums we have used COLS in the LINE statement to absolute postioning.In this way, if we intend to leave 1 blank space between columns,the report print them as required.
Problem comes only in the last Summary row,where the column values are summed & printed.Here the summary values always has 3 blank spaces.For eg., if the first Varaible of the Summary record has no trailing blanks, the second Varaible value will overlay some of the data of the first Varaible,taking 3 BLANK SPACES is mandatory between Varaibles in summary row as a rule.
We tried using DISPLAY statement to print the summary record alone with COLS option.Still we have same issue like 3 BLANK SPACES between Varaibles in summary row.
Let us if any other option is availble in EZ+ to take of this 3 BLANK SPACES restriction

You mean the final totals? Can you show us an example?

Sorry for giving the details late.

In the above report the last line first Column summary is actuly "1,927,802",but the three mandatory space from the next column summary have overlayed the '2' with BLANK in the tenth position.
