Hi,

We are converting all SAS programs in our shop soon, in order to avoid renewing the license. Now, we have an option to either go for Cobol or Focus, which we use most of the times. BTW, we are not SAS experts.

Is there any conversion tool available from SAS to either Cobol/Focus. I am not expecting a ready-made tool, but something to start with. Also, an idea on which one is easier SAS-Cobol or SAS-Focus?

There are 3rd party tools which does the conversion for you . ex: ConvTek . check this link

How ever if you are planning to convert manually , then check this link which talks about cobol to sas conversion. You just to follow the Reverse of the procedure shown below
