Hi all,

i want to create an utility which will compare 2 records (btw 2 specified pos). I know this can be done through Option 3.13 .but i would like to create a utility for this.

Here's what i need :-

Input rec :-

1213213232323a
1212121212121b
abababababa
1213213232323c
1213213232323a

say now if i have to compare just the last and the first rec (pos 14 only)

the output sould say "both records match at pos 14.

Also this should in case there is PD there !!

Can any one let me know how to go abt it ??
