Thank you for your reply on how to send an email via jcl.
Here is another question. I have a step in my jcl that sends a message to the master console. But its being rolled off before the operator reads it. Is there an option that I can enter to the end of the send command to keep the message from rolling off?

It sounds like you need a "Write To Operator With Reply", or a WTOR. These are the highlighted messages that you see when you issue the
"D R,L" command on a system console. |

This question clearly has nothing to do with the original topic "Sending a mail with attachment using XMIT".

You need not use WTOR if you don't really need a reply. In assembler code, the WTO macro uses DESC=(11) parameter to preventt the message from rolling off until deleted. _________________ Regards,
