Tattva,

Purge Your Id through some one who Logged in.

In the Job spool(s.st) , try C(Cancel) or P (Purge) for purging your Id.

Hope the above Information helps you.

I don't think that your peer will have an access to purge your id.

You can always call the command centre on your shop to purge the id.

cancel/purge are jes commands and have no effect. If the tso userid is still active try logging on with the reconnect parameter.
eg logon userid reconnect

if the tso session is still valid you should be reconnected to the system
if the system replies that the user is not active you will have to wait until
the vtam disconnect time is reached or call your call centre

Do you have an 'S" in the RECONNECT option on your TSO logon screen?

Followed the previous link and there is nothing there to help tattva
he cannot logon and and none of his peers have the required level of authorization. It is LOGON with RECONNECT PARAMETER or ring the call
centre or wait until vtam times you out.
I would be interested to know why you cannot specify reconnect when you receive the following panel (see taltymans reply)

------------------------------- TSO/E LOGON -----------------------------------
IKJ56420I Userid XXXXXXX not authorized to use TSO

Enter LOGON parameters below:

*Userid ===> USERID

Password ===>

Procedure ===> IKJACCNT

Acct Nmbr ===>

Size ===>

Perform ===>

Command ===>

Enter an 'S' before each option desired below:
-Nomail -Nonotice s -Reconnect -OIDcard

PF1/PF13 ==> Help PF3/PF15 ==> Logoff PA1 ==> Attention PA2 ==> Reshow
You may request specific help information by entering a '?' in any entry field

I interpret this as neither he nor his colleagues can cancel the session

If the error takes you back to the prompt, try entering LOGON followed by your userid. It may allow you to log your previous session off.

Here we have an option of creating multiple profiles. So we can logon with a differnet profile and cancel the logon job of previous one.

Process is we create second profile by copying 'TSid.ISPF.PROFILE' into 'TSid.ISPF1.PROFILE'. Then while logging to tso we specify T2 after the password (password T2) and it logs with the new profile. We can also create ''TSid.ISPF2.PROFILE' to login three times simultaneously.

Don't know if it is shop dependent or usual thing.

Sorry you have to wait for the time out period to be reached or call your operators. I have never come across a utility that would do this.
The problem I can see with the utility would be the level of authorization required to issue the commands to cancel the session, there again if you have the authorization to run such a utility you dont need the utility you just issue the commands ..... sort of a catch 22 thing .
