Hi
I was doing some testing for a COBOL-DB2 program. The program was running without any problem for some time but suddenly I started getting the following error message.
Quote: |
---------- SQLCA FOLLOWS ---------------
DSNT408I SQLCODE = -923, ERROR: CONNECTION NOT ESTABLISHED: DB2 NOT UP, REASON
, TYPE , NAME
DSNT411I SQLCAID = LCA SQLCA IDENTIFIER
DSNT418I SQLSTATE = 57015 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE
DSNT415I SQLERRP = DSNAET03 SQL PROCEDURE DETECTING ERROR
---------- END OF SQLCA ---------------
|
The compilation and bind are successful. Also there is no problem with the connection. All I did was added some DISPLAY statements for testing. Then compiled and bound. Is there any other reason I'm getting a -923 error? _________________ Thank You

Hi Ravi
Thanks for the response.
I did a QW before I post this message and that was the reason I have mentioned that the BIND was successful.
Also the new codes that I inserted are a couple of DISPLAY statements. I don't think it's relevant here. _________________ Thank You
