Hello,

Does anyone know if there are any Jcl user guides/reference material in PDF or word format that I can download to my pc ?

IBM jcl manuals can be accessed in pdf via web, but it wont allow me to down load to my pc.

I would like to read the manual without being on the net.

thanks,
Arun.

Arun,

All the IBM manuals which have this pdflogo can be downloaded.

Click on that logo and then it will open the book in pdf format. you can click on floppy icon for saving the file on to your pc. or click on the FILE and select "save a copy"

Now you have the book on your pC.

Hope this helps...

cheers

Arun,

Here's a link to the "z/OS V1R4 JCL Reference" book. As Kolusu says, you can click on the Acrobat icon to download the pdf file.

Hello Kolusu,

I clicked on the pdf icon and the pdf screen came up with the jcl manual, But, there is no flopy disk option anywhere on the screen. And the
file-saveas option is protected. Let me know how to get around it.
thanks,
Arun.

Arun,

Once you open the manual in adobe reader do you see icons above the bookmarks??

The first icon is floppy, followed by a printer icon and so on ...??

You can click on the Floppy icon to save it.

Btw what version of adobe are you using?? You can get the latest version from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readermain.html

Hope this helps..

cheers
