I know command 'D' for deleting specific lines in the program.if we specify it in first six columns but is there any command 'D' which you have used in column 7. Rolling Eyes

vak255,

Are you talking about "D" in column 7 in a cobol program? If so then it is used for Debugging. If this indeed a cobol question this should be posted in the application programming forum instead of a TSO forum

It is not related to xpeditor at all. Check this link to learn more about Coding debugging lines

Your question is obviously related to COBOL which is a programming language and it has got nothing to do with TSO forum. The "D" in column 7 is not a TSO Command Delete. So don't get confused with that indicator.

Hope this helps...

Cheers
