Hi,
Could anyone please explain me how CICS handles Security : specifically w.r.t Authorisations to Transactions and DB2 Tables.
a) In case RACF is disabled does CICS do Transaction Authorisations on its own (when there is no other ESM) . If so how and when does it happen?
b) Who handles authorisation to a query on a DB2 table from a CICS Transaction. CICS or DB2 or RACF when RACF is enabled ?
b) Who handles authorisation to a query on DB2 table fom a CICS Transaction. CICS or DB2 when RACF is disabled ?
Thanks

think you need to speak to your security people. security is site specific. If you are only interested in general knowledge, links at top of page for manuals. _________________ Dick Brenholtz
