Can anyone please tell me is it possible to load into a view and if yes how it works as view is not a physical entity and do they inturn load data to the base tables of the view?

A view is not a physical entity as you mention. You don't load into a view. You load into the table(s) that the view uses.

From the DB2 Utility Guide and Reference for z/OS v8:

No views.
