Hi,

One of our user wants to load the excel spread sheet data into DB2 subsystem's table from his local machine by running some scripts. Like other systems, ODBC should be there to connect the database. He informed us that he failed to connect to subsystem.

1) I have checked, the DDF is started for the subsytem in mainframe server.
2) How do we check whether ODBC is properly configured/installed from mainframe server point of view as well as from remote machine. Means how could we distinguish whether this error is due to setup in remote machine or anything needs to be done in mainframe server.
3) Is there any special JCL (may be in SAMP lib) to configure/install ODBC.
