Sir,
I have studied that a task may involve one program
or more than one program. Could any one explain the
boundaries of a task.
I am assuming that task is a " Period between start of a transaction
to returing control to CICS'.
Please correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks,
Ravi |

Ravi
A task is "One initiation of a transaction" where a transaction may involve 1 or more programs...
As an example, if you have a transaction T1 consisting of program P1, one initiation of T1 is Task K1, another initiation of T1(i.e. P1) is K2 & so on...
Hope this helps..
Cheers
