|
|
Hi,
I need to know how do I find out the size of a flat file in kb or mb in Mainframes.
Long time back I had read a thread from Kolusu showing the calculation based on Lrecl and Blksize but now, when I searched for it I couldnt find it - might be I am using wrong keywords.
Also, would the calculation be similar for a file residing on a single volume and for one spanning across multiple volumes.
Thanks and appreciate any helps on this.
Thanks,
Sam |

LRECL * number of records = number of bytes for a fixed record length file. _________________ ....Terry |
