Is anyone aware of a way to print the name of the dataset that was used to submit a job? Ideally it would come out in the JES log somewhere.

huskynut,

I don't think DSN name is captured at all as Jobs can be submitted from any where.

ex: INTRDR or IKJEFT01 issuing a SUB command on the on a DSN.

How would you capture these? If you are always submitting the job from a PDS or sequential while in edit /view then you can use the rexx exec in batch to display the DSN Name like shown here
