I want to use date as qualifier in my output dataset.

Condition;

1) date is get it from another date file.
2) output dataset is tape dataset
3) Dynamic allocation is not recommended in my concern

Please help me regarding this.

did you mean
  1. the date is contained in a record of the other DS (data set)?
  2. the date is part of the DSN (data set name) - a LLQ of the other DS?
