To my eyes: no chance!! There can only be one DB2 connection established from one CICS region, and there you have to specify the DB2 subsystem of your choice. Any other possibility would interest me very much

Under CICS/TS 3.2, the DB2 subsystem connection is defined in the CSD, and has the DB2 Subsystem id imbedded in it. And the RCT has the DB2 subsystem name at the beginning.
So it looks to me that one MIGHT be able to talk to multiple DB2's at the same time, but I am not sure. I guess it's time to do some testing!
Thanks, will let you know what I find out. |
