Dear Sir,
We have couple of tables which has Generated Always Identity columns. I see from IBM manuals running the load utility on these tables will change the sequence numbers. We want to keep the same numbers. Is this is true even when DBA runs reorg on these tables which has Identity columns? Is there any alternate way of keeping the same sequence numbers when runnning these utilities? We live in version 7.0
Thank you very much for all your help. |

In short, Yes you can LOAD the unloaded value to the column which is defined as indentity. This is very usefull in keeping the databases in sync. _________________ Thanks,
