What would happen if new ZPARMS were added to a version however, they were not implemented? Does DB2 automatically use the defaults or are they ignored? |

I guess he is talking about DSNZPARM like NUMLKTS , NUMLKUS, IRLMRWT etc. |

FWIW,
You can get a listing of DB2 subsystems DSNZPARM by calling the IBM supplied stored procedure DSNWZP.

ZPARMS IN IBM MAINFRAME DB2 CONTAINS BASE PARAMETERS OF A PERTICULAR DB2 SUBSYSTEM DEFINATION.
IT CONTAINS ALL BASE PARAMETERS LIKE DB2 DIRECTORY,CATALOG TABLES,IRLM LOCKS, SPAS ADD SPACE,DRDA ADDSPACE AND SO
