Hello,
There is a VSAM file which has lacs of duplicate records.
My requirement is to eliminate the duplicate records
The file layout is as shown.

I need to retain only the first occurance of this record in my file.

There are several other duplicate records as this.
All these records which have duplicates have 79939070 in position 8-15.
There are non duplicate records also which have 79939070 in position 8-15.
I was going through the post

But this doesnt seem to work for my requirement.
Can anyone please help me on this?
