I am new to SAS,can some tell me what steps I need to take to extract information from syslog datasets. I need to get information about particular jobnames, such as start and endtimes, output queue time, and time the job starts and ends printing. Previously it was mentioned that SMF had some functions, but I have been told that SMF is on a day delay basis, is this correct?
