Hello Gurus

Can DFSORT tell me if data in a particular column is valid PD of S9(3)V9(2) type (or any other data type etc.) ?

This should reduce my SOC7 time.

Thanks, Relaxing

relaxing,

Check this link for DFSORT's VERIFY operator to find the invalid packed decimal fields along with an example

http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/ICE1CA10/6.16?DT=20050222160456

Hope this helps...

Cheers

Kolusu
