Hello all,
What do we mean by STAGE in endevor(client supplied tool). The idea that i have is:
Stage 1= Unit testing
Stage 2= Stage to move an element from stage1 to stage2 and to mark that Unit testing is completed.
Stage 3 = System testing
Stage 4= Stage to move an element from stage3 to stage4 and to mark that System testing is completed.
Stage 5= User acceptance testing.
Stage 6= Final stage and this is Production mode. |

Normally there will be 4 environments in Endevor (Unit,Syst,Acpt,Prod).
Each environment contains 2 Stages.
We will add the program to first stage in any environment and then it will be moved to second stage in that environment.
E.g.: If Unit environment has two stages namely A,B then we will add the program to stage A(this is nothing but compiling the program) and then it will be moved to stage B. Then this will be moved to next environment(Syst) for next type of testing(System Testing) and so on. |
