Job waiting in the console

Hi,
I ran an IDCAM job that check whether the file is empty or not. If it's empty it will return a RC of 4. This job has been running fine till last week. Today the Job is waiting in the console to get a reply from the operator if the RC is 4.
Code:

 -JOBNAME  STEPNAME PROCSTEP    RC   EXCP   CONN    TCB   
*30 JOB TESTXXXX STEP CHECK001 NOT   SUCCESSFUL. REPLY U 
 R 30,U                                                   
 -TESTXSK1 CHECK001             04    132    185    .00   


I'm not aware of any OS update. Does anybody has a clue why the job is waiting in the console till the operator cancell it.

Hi,
Need some info to check your Inq...
1) Please post your JCL coding...(including proc's, parm - if any)
2) Please provide a SYSLOG for your job...
