Hi All

I am moving s9(9) comp to s9(9) and s9(9)v99 comp-3 to s9(9)v99

I think I am doing right but I am getting SOC4.

Anybody can help in this situation.

Thank you
Val

are you sure that you are getting the SOC4 because of this move? I was under the impression that you will get a SOC7 for a data exception!!!!

Are you initiliazing your COMP-3 variable??(still if you are not you should get a SOC7 but still worth of looking)

Can you show us your variable declaration and move statements.

Hi Val,

Check what your sending data looks like before the moves. Apparently the content of the data doesn't match the definitions you used for them.

For example, you may have an alpha in a digit of the s9(9) field or the comp-3 field may contain an invalid sign in the low order 4 bits of the low order byte of the field.

HTH, Jack.
