I am a complete novoice in this so I was curious.
How does anyone go about creating a bulletin board on the net? I mean how is it feasible to create a free site like this? Isn't there any initial investment required in terms of storage space to be bought or rented? It might not be a very complex site to maintain but how does anyone manage when the database size increases etc. Where does the money come from i.e how is it financially or economically feasible to the person who's created the site?

Yes there is an initial investment to host a site. You need to register the domain and pay for the hosting service.Right now the money comes from my credit card.My hosting company charges me once a year.well I started this board with a sole intention of helping people.I am not trying to make money of it.

Apart from the domain registration and the hosting service, has the development and maintainence of this site being done by you or by a third party.

The board comes in a base format. we need to change the layout according to our needs.The look and the options are developed by me.Even the maintainence is done by me.
