Hi experts,
Could you please explain what is "workstation" in OPC ?. I got the following explanation from a Manual. But i could not clear picture about "work station".
The scheduler supports a range of work process types, called workstations, that map the processing needs of any task in your production workload. Each workstation supports one type of activity. This gives you the flexibility to schedule, monitor, and control any DP

OPC is a Job Scheduler Operational Planning and Control.There are a lot of features in this tool for Running and Monitoring Jobs and for various other purposes. _________________ Shekar

We have workstations defined for:
- AIX systems
- MVS systems (some have multiple workstation definitions for specific workload requirements)
- "logical" workstations that only exist to allow control of resources
- special non-reporting workstation definitions (not sure how these are used) _________________ Regards,
