Hi all, here is my question.

I want to be able to have a page # at the top of each page on the report, but i want the page # to lets say start in a specific position, and not let EZT do it for me.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

MainframeJoe,

try this

Code:

REPORT yourrptname LINESIZE 80 PRINTER yourrptname NOADJUST NOPAGE
TITLE 01 COL 25 '    SAMPLE REPORT  '  +
         COL 60 ' PAGE #:  ' PAGE-COUNT

Hope this helps...

Cheers

You have 2 report names.

change this
Quote:

to

and re-run your job

Changing RPT1 to L1-REPORT is not going to fix it. RPT1 is the OUTFILE in which i want the report to be sent to.
The job runs if i remove the PAGE-COUNT and let EZT add the counter to the report.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

You job should run no different then mine.
If i remove the word PAGE-COUNT my job runs without any problems, so even if i copy your job it will do the same and give me an error.
From our online documentation i think we are running V6.4. But i would not really know because i do not work in our data center.

Why don't you run it and see.

The first line of your SYSPRINT will tell you the version of easytrieve you are running. If you are running version 6.4 there is NO way that you will get an error with the sample job I posted.
